Yoga Fundamentals

This class focuses on fundamental poses in the Iyengar method including standing poses, seated poses, twists, forward extensions and foundational backbends. Inversions like Setu Bandha Sarvangasana (bridge pose), Halasana (plough pose), and Salamba Sarvangasana (Shoulderstand) are practiced and refined. Students continue to learn how to appropriately use yoga props to cultivate alignment while continuing to learn and refine fundamental actions and incorporate observation of the breath.

This class is appropriate for continuing beginner students and those who want to focus on foundational strength and stability.
